This Quarter Peal is the first in a series of 108 Quarter Peals proposed to be rung at All Saints, Hessle commencing on 4th August 2014 and ending with the 108th on 11th November 2018. These being the 100th anniversary dates of the start and end of the First World War, with the number 108 representing the official number of Hessle residents killed in, or as a direct result of, the fighting during the War.
