On the 50th anniversary of the peal, which was the first by the Society and the first at Nunburnholme, which was rung on Saturday 7th June 1947 in 3 hours 36 minutes in the same methods. This was the first peal for 32 years for John Hobson who rang the same bell in both peals and is the only surviving member of the original band.
