This 42-course composition, containing all combinations of 4, 5 and 6 in 5-6 without the second in 5-6, is now rung for the first time.

First peal of Treble Bob - 1.

First peal in the method on the bells and by 4 of the band. This composition, the 48 course-ends with the 6th the extent home and all combinations of 4, 5 and 6 in 5-6, produced without the use of singles retaining the bells in 5-6, is now rung for the first time.

First touch in the method - 3. This 54 course composition, with the 2nd the extent in 2-3 and 6 courses only in 4th's, with all the 5-6's and 4-6's, is now presumed to be rung for the first time.

First peal at first attempt - 7. First peal in the method on the bells.

First peal of Surprise Minor on the bells and by all of the band. This is the 50th peal Messrs. Bason and Duncan have rung together.

First peal - 3, 5 (members of the local company, a capable and enthusiastic band, under the tuition of George Bailey, formally of Norwich).

A complimentary peal to Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Harrison, of Diss, on the occasion of the birth of a daughter.

50th peal as conductor. First peal on the bells since rehanging by Messrs. Gillett and Johnston, who are to be congratulated upon the excellent result.

It is 22 years since the last peal was rung ie Bob Major, on February 10th, 1910. A previous peal of Double Norwich was rung on May 19th, 1827, conducted by Samuel Thurston.

First peal of Doubles - 1, 5. First peal in the method on the bells. The ringers of 2nd, 3rd and tenor have now rung Grandsire up to Cinques.

Rung with half-muffled clappers as a token of respect to the mother of the Rev. H S Maude-Roxby.

The conductor has now called a different composition from each bell in this tower.

Rung as a birthday compliment to the ringer of the treble, and was his first peal of Treble Bob.

First peal of Bob Royal - 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10. The conductor has now completed the circle, and is the first to have done so in this tower. All have been 10 and 12-bell peals.

First peal on 10 bells - 1. Rung with half-muffled clappers as a token of respect to Mr. John Souter of Diss.

First peal of 'Real' Double Norwich by all the band, in Norfolk and for the association. The composition is the 72 course-ends with the 4, 5 and 6 the extent in 6th's, and is believed the first peal to be rung with these qualities in the method with twin calls.

A farewell peal to the Rev. D L Saberton, for 6.5 years curate at this church, and a peal of welcome to his successor, the Rev. - de Voil.

First peal of Treble Bob 'inside' - 6

Rung with half-muffled clappers as a tribute to the memory of the late Rev. D A Callum, Rector of St. Michael-at-Coslany and Vicar of St. Martin-at-Oak.

This two-part composition of 44 courses contains the second alternately wrong and home, and is now rung for the first time. The average age of four of the band is over 68 years.
