Rung half-muffled to the memory of the Rev. Charles Upwood Manning, Rector of Diss 1899-1916, who was interred at Diss that afternoon. When the Rev. C U Manning retired through ill health, members of the Manning family has been successively Rectors of Diss for 121 years.
The composition, which contains the 7.4.6.8's is rung for the first time.
