In loving memory of Alan H Durfee (1943–2024) and Donald Trumpler (1930–2024), both long-time members of the Smith College band. Alan's last peal, in which he trebled to Yorkshire Surprise Major, was conducted in this tower by Don 42 years ago today; the ringer of the 4 was also in that band.
