Alan was a dedicated member of both the Ancient Society of College Youths and the North American Guild. Alan joined the North American Guild in 1979, and was President for the period 1993-1994, and Central Council Representative 1999-2007, and 2014-2019. He visited Toronto countless times and rang with us regularly. His presence as a Guild member and a regular visitor is missed.
