Janet learned to ring at Ruskington, she was an active member of the band for several years with her children Paul and Jackie.

The ringers for her funeral and this Quarter Peal included friends who rang with her during those years.

Coronation ringing today had strong family connections.

We remembered Phillip Reynolds who rang for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. He was known to several of todays band. His son and grandson David & Michael rang today for King Charles III.

The Harrison / Carr family were delighted to become a four generation, all ringing family.

5 year old Phoebe achieved her ambition to 'Ring for the King', she was a star.

Ring for the King brought together seventeen local ringers. Rounds and Kings were rung on both six and eight for the newest members of the band. Also rung were plain hunt on eight and a plain course of plain bob major.

Afterwards the band had a street party in church in celebration of the coronation.

Odile Stringer was also present, but unable to ring on the day.
