First of treble bob: 1
The last event of "The Long Weekend" - a sponsored ringing fund-raiser for Market Deeping Church's "Tower Project".
"The Long Weekend" lasted from 4-6 and 11-13 September, when Market Deeping ringers were challenged to ring "longer than ever before" to raise money through sponsorship for Market Deeping church.
Six quarter-peals were rung: Chloe's first, Ellie and Gill's firsts as conductor, Josh's first inside, Deborah's first on 8 and first of treble-bob.
Three peals were rung: Phil and Bryany's first peals, and the longest length on handbells for the Guild.
So how much did we raise? That would be bragging!
