Rung to celebrate the life of a Westie - Little Miss Muffet Wakefield, April 1991 to November 2006. She loved exploring Churches, attending choir practices and was a wonderful companion travelling to and from bellringing practices.

Rung on the 'Winchilsea Six' (the front six of the ten) prior to the Advent Carol Service / Wassail Service to mark the end of the Christmas Tree Festival which has been held in the Church over the Weekend.

Rung half-muffled, In Memoriam, Revd Sue Simcox of Alford.

First peal on the six bells since augmentation, and first peal rung on the 330 year old 4th bell, transferred from Ragnall, Notts.

Rung prior to Evensong on the 'Winchilsea Six' (the front six of the ten) to celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the bells being augmented from four to ten and the casting of the six trebles in 1896 which were the gift of the 12th Earl of Winchilsea.

Also rung to mark the 110th Anniversary of the first peal on the bells which was Grandsire Caters rung on 12th December 1896.

The following method: 36x56.14x56x36x34x36-12 (TDMM 2031) has now been rung for the first time. The band wish to name the method Winchilsea Surprise Minor.

150th Quarter Peal for: 5.

Longest length as conductor since 1986 (1001st peal!).

In memoriam Mr Vernon Taylor of Market Overton, Rutland.

Mr Taylor was the conductor of one of the 1930s Lincoln Diocesan Guild peal bands, who achieved new records in spliced minor.

He was also one of those responsible for teaching Emma to ring!

Rung prior to the Service of Nine Lessons & Carols to celebrate the coming of Christmas and to mark the 110th Anniversary of the first peal on the bells which was Grandsire Caters rung on 12th December 1896.

Rung also as a 17th Birthday Compliment to Tom on the tenor.

Specially arranged and rung in affectionate memory of Michael W Crowder of Barrow upon Humber, past officer of the Guild, who died on Sunday 17th December 2006.

Specially arranged and rung in affectionate memory of Michael W. Crowder of Barrow-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire who sadly died on Sunday 17th December 2006. Mike was a good friend to many people and he will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts are with his family.

For service of nine lessons and carols, after which the ringers met in the 'Tobie Norris' pub which has recently been opened on the site of the old bell foundry.

Specially arranged and rung by a Central Branch band in affectionate memory of our Good Friend Michael W. Crowder of Barrow-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire who sadly died on Sunday 17th December 2006. He will be greatly missed by all and our thoughts are with his family.

Rung to celebrate Christmas and to mark the centenary of the first peal to be rung on the bells which was rung on 24th December 1906 for the Lincoln Diocesan Guild and consisted of three plain minor methods (Reverse College Single Bob, Oxford Bob & Plain Bob).

Rung in memory of our friend Michael W. Crowder (of Barrow-upon-Humber) who died on Sunday 17th December 2006.

Rung also to celebrate the 65th Wedding Anniversary of Phil & Kath Pitchford which was back in November. Phil was a formed member of the local band, learning to ring on these bells.

Christopher is believed to be the youngest person to turn Brant Broughton tenor into a peal (aged 20). He is the third generation of his family to ring a peal on the bells at Brant Broughton.
