Also rung to mark the 110th Anniversary of the first peal on the bells which was Grandsire Caters rung on 12th December 1896. Rung in memory of our friend Michael W. Crowder (of Barrow-upon-Humber) who died on Sunday 17th December 2006. Rung also to celebrate the 65th Wedding Anniversary of Phil & Kath Pitchford which was back in November. Phil was a formed member of the local band, learning to ring on these bells. Christopher is believed to be the youngest person to turn Brant Broughton tenor into a peal (aged 20). He is the third generation of his family to ring a peal on the bells at Brant Broughton.
