Rung prior to the funeral service for Major Bett Collier MBE. He survived the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki whilst a prisoner of the Japanese and travelled extensively to give talks on the theme of reconciliation. In recent years he campaigned tirelessly to keep footpaths open for the use of ramblers. His award of an MBE for this work was announced in the New Years Honours list. Brett and his wife Janet were loyal members of the congregation at this church.

Rung half muffled on the back five after meeting short in memory of Local Ringer Sue Scouller who sadly passed away a year ago to the day after loosing a long battle against cancer.
Sue was a good friend and rang regularly at all three Churches in the Parish. Sue's husband gave a large donation to the Bell fund at Potterhanworth last year in memory of Sue when we were raising money to augment our bells from three to six and the fourth bell is dedicated in memory of her.

After the quarter the bells where fired 60 times in 3 blocks of 20 to Celebrate Victory 60 years ago.
The ringer of the fourth was in Burma 60 years ago when victory was declared.

Rung half muffled in memory of Gill Berry before a service of thanksgiving to Celebtrate her life. Gill was Chairman of the PCC and past Churchwarden of St Andrew's. Gill did alot for the Village and the Church both in organising and supporting events. She did alot of fund raising for the Community and also produced the Church / Village monthly newsletter. She was a regular member of the congregation and was very supportive of the bells. After the service a 480 of Plain Bob Minor was rung with the bells open.
