Rung half-muffled in memory of Corporal Arthur John Roker of the Australian Field Artillery, Service No. 11122, killed in action on 30th September 1917 (29th September in the Acton Gazette newspaper report attached), aged 34. Commemorated at the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. He was a ringer at Acton before emigrating to Australia in 1914.
