On the 50th Anniversary of the first peal on these bells (except the Tenor which has since been recast), newly cast to replace the 1693 octave by Wightman (later augmented to 10) which were destroyed during a night-raid in World War Two. The ringer of the 4th took part in the 1959 peal, which was conducted by Edwin Barnett.
