This is the first peal in the method ever rung upon handbells, and was rung at the first attempt after twenty-five practices, during which various lengths amounting to 18,720 changes were brought round, and the distance travelled by the four men amounted to 1,167 miles, of which 370 had to be walked. Rung as a birthday compliment to A T King, Esq, Hon Secretary to the Association
