Rung half-muffled in thanksgiving for the life of Mavis Jarvis whose funeral was held here today. Following a long illness, bravely borne with dignity, Mavis, of Ulceby, passed away on 26th February aged 88, surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rung half-muffled during the Church Festival weekend in thanksgiving for the lives of Joseph Arthur John ('Joe') Thompson (40), farmer of Swallow, Lincs, and formerly of this parish, and his aunt Clarissa Mary Turner (71) of Swallow both of whom lost their lives in a road accident near their home on 10th April. Joe was a founder member and long-standing volunteer on the West Lindsey Churches Festival Committee for the last twenty years.
