Apparently, it snowed on that day and the bride was the only one who was warm wearing thermals under her wedding dress! They met at the Challengers Church Youth Group and after group meetings used to go for drinks at The George Pub near to St Mary's. Jane, ringer of the second bell, is their daughter and Jane's cousin, Howard, was today's conductor. Sadly the bridegroom is deceased but the bride, Jennifer, came along with some friends to listen to the ringing. After the ringing Graham Long played Wagner's Bridal March and Mendelssohn's Wedding March on the church organ. Lunch followed at The George Pub afterwards.
