Rung open in thanksgiving for the life and example of Rev'd Stanley Munro Evans, (KCACR 1944-2019) Vice President of KCACR for many years, who's funeral took place today at this church which he served faithfully for 30 years as vicar - Stanley was also responsible for the bells from Holy Cross Canterbury being transferred to Westgate in 1975 - also for major work done to Bredgar bells while he was vicar there. The band were either taught by Stanley, rang at a parish where he served as vicar or just knew him for a long time. Rest In Peace Stanley you will never be forgotten.
