Rung with the bells half-muffled on the 90th anniversary of the reception of the unknown soldier into Dover prior to his onward journey to Westminster Abbey for burial on the following day. The railway carriage in which he was taken to London has been restored and was unveiled this day at Tenterden during the time when the peal was being rung.
