Ten different extents. Rung open in thanksgiving for the life of Fred (Tiffy) Eggleton, for many years a ringer at Wiveliscombe, Somerset.

The latest gathering of the Boorman clan, to celebrate the birthday of Joy, mother of the family, produced four successful quarter peals. The weekend ringing began on a solemn note while the family remembered a recently departed friend, Tiffy Eggleton, who for many years rang at Wivelis- combe. This being only her second quarter, Joy turned in a very creditable performance on the treble without a mistake. Although declining involvement in the remaining performances, the three quarters rung the following day are dedicated to Joy by her family and friends who kindly made up the bands and who all wish her Many Happy Returns!
