The peal was rung with bells half-muffled as a tribute of respect to the late E. J. P. Ruck, who was for 26 years organist and choirmaster at this church.

Half-muffled as a last tribute of respect Mrs. A. J. B. Robb, mother of the Vicar, and to Mr. Harry Warnett, sen. (88), for over 60 years associated with this church and tower until lately captain and steeplekeeper, interred this day.

Rung half-muffled in memory of Mr. Harry Warnett, tower captain of Lewisham. See RW Sept 28 1951, p621. Method assumed.

Rung half-muffled as a last tribute to Mr. A.E. Clarke-Smith, who was associated with the church for over 50 years.
