First peal of Yorkshire Royal - 1, 2, 4, 5 & 8.

The first peal of Yorkshire Royal rung in London and by the association.

Rung with half-muffled clappers to the memory of the late Archbishop of Canterbury (Lord Davidson). Mr. Belcher was proposed a member previous to start of peal. The band (eight of whom are St. Clement Youths) wish to thank the Rector (Rev. W . Pennington-Bickford) for the use of his bells at short notice. The attempt was originally to have been made at Rochester Cathedral.
