This was the 150th consecutive year that the pupils of Bisley Bluecoat School have paraded from the school,which is next to the church, down through the village streets to the village wells. They then dress the wells with flowers and there is a short service blessing the wells and giving thanks for the life-giving water which pours from the hillside beneath the church. This is truly a community event and the conductor took part in this as a pupil of the school some years ago!
