The conductor's 100th peal. Rung on the occasion of the great demonstration in Bristol against the Welsh Disestablishment Bill.

The peal was rung in honour of the coming-of-age of the eldest son of G T Daltry, tower keeper of All Saints' Church.

The peal was rung to commemorate the replacing of the quarter Jacks, together with a new clock, in Christ Church tower. Reference has already been made in this paper with regard to the opening ceremony on July 5th. The whole of the work was completed on July 14th, the date of the peal.

This was rung as a jubilee peal for the Rector (Rev. J Ormiston), who has completed 50 years in the ministry.

The peal was rung muffled as a mark of respect to the late Miss Ellaline Edwards, who was a member of Christ Church congregation. It was through her generosity that the bells of this church were rehung in 1901.
