The location for the quarter was very apt, as the handbells once belonged to Jim Bowley, who was tower captain at the Oaks when the bells were augmented in 1970/71. He purchased them for use whilst the bells were out of action. Certainly the first quarter on the bells since 1970.

Rung compliant with tier 3 restrictions. No sleeping bags, ear muffs, scarves, thermal underwear, ski boots or the like were worn during the attempt.
