['The Ringing World' of 9 April 1920 - p. 171 - gives simply 'George Jones' for the ringers of 2 and 6. Unfortunately this is repeated in the Chester Guild Annual Report for 1920. I have guessed that George R Jones rang the 2nd, purely on the basis that in other peals he rang around this time he was at the front end; but there is, of course, no proof that I am right. I am, however, confident in writing that one of the ringers was George R Jones (of St Mary-on-the-Hill, Chester) and another was George Jones, of Pulford.] JDA.
