Specially arranged as a thanksgiving for the life of Philip G Erith (1942 - 2025). Philip rang regularly at this tower, whilst teaching French at Woodbridge School. During this time he taught the conductor to ring (and French), now 58 years ago this month.

In celebration of the wedding earlier today at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral of Rev Gregor Purdie, curate at this church and Rev Rachel Revely, priest in charge at St Thomas' Ipswich.

Specially arranged to celebrate the centenary of the first peal on these bells, Grandsire Doubles, on 24th April 1926. Also, in fond memory of Meg Ward and former tower captain, Dennis Kiddy, both of whom rang their first peal on the 50th anniversary in 1976, in which Christine Knight took part. Dennis taught many people to ring at Cowlinge and also spearheaded the restoration at nearby Stradishall in 2007.
