The final touch in a morning of ringing to celebrate the conductor's 24th birthday yesterday; this touch, rung on the back ten, is specifically dedicated to the memory of Steve Bateman.
Steve was a much-admired member of this tower who rang the tenor to the conductor's 17th birthday quarter, 1440 Cambridge S Royal at Wells Cathedral on 27 February 2016. His contribution to the ringing in the Bristol and Salisbury Dioceses is remembered with this performance with a band including ringers from both areas.
