Rung to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first peal of Surprise Maximus to be rung in Wiltshire. The 1954 peal was also the first peal of Surprise Maximus to be rung for The Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers. It consisted of 5280 changes of Cambridge Surprise Maximus and was rung on these bells. Mr George W Massey has taken part in both performances.
