Rung to recognise the recent Blue Plaque for Revd Wilbert Awdry commemorating his life and works on Thomas the Tank Engine 80 years after the books were first published. The Revd Awdry was Vicar of Emneth from 1953 to 1965 and based Toby the Tram Engine on the local Wisbech to Upwell branch line whilst he was living in Emneth.
