Rung many times (plus some tolling of the tenor of the full ring) over a 3 hour period to demonstrate ringing on our open church & tower big help-out event. Approx 200 visitors.

Part of the Coronation Mini-tour of Local Towers not rung regularly; fourth and last tower.

Supported by ringers from the Ely District who range in experience from Peal-ringers to those improving on back-strokes. This was the first ring on 10 for many.

The bells were chimed by over 100 visitors to the tower with help from the local ringing band. Visitors ranged in age from 2 to "too polite to ask".

The first official ringing of the Alconbury bells since the bells were removed and refurbished by John Taylor’s of Loughborough at a funeral service for the late Mavis Rawlings, previously church warden and resident of Alconbury. A fitting tribute for the bells to be heard once again.
