Rung in memoriam and in celebration for the life of the Reverend Richard Gordon Edward Bradshaw on the eve of his funeral. Dick, as he was known by his very many friends and colleagues, was the Rector of St Andrew's Roker, and Team Rector for Monkwearmouth. He was a competent ringer himself and participated in the Coronation ringing for King Charles III at St. Andrew's in 2023. A highly respected, amicable and very kind man, Dick was also a very good friend to the St Andrew's ringers. His New Year's Eve soirees included an invitation for the local ringers and had become legendary amongst us. May he rest in peace.
