Rung to mark the achievement of Miss Ida Donnison of Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham who in 1922 was the first lady member of this Association to ring a peal.
Tonight's quarter peal was scheduled to be rung at Chester-le-Street but due to unforeseen circumstances had to be relocated to Brancepeth at short notice.
The band send there good wishes for a speedy recovery to Mike Prentice, Tower Captain at Chester-le-Street, who was admitted to hospital in Leeds on Wednesday.
