Also in memoriam James Mills (1797-1883) who as an eight year old 'assisted' his father Daniel and others unknown in ringing a 'peal' on the bells of the old parish church Oldham, in 1805 after receipt of the 'glorious news announcing Lord Nelson's victory in Trafalgar Bay'.
