The Church was rebuilt/repaired out of reparations fund. After WWII the bells were deemed unringable due to the explosion weakening the tower. However in the 1980s, with the late Rev. Peter Cobb and John Evans, an architectural engineer who worked on the Severn Bridge, got them ringing again.
