Fred had been a long and faithful member of Coity Church and a ringer at Coity since 1974, Steeple Keeper & Tower Correspondent since 1976 and Tower Captain since 1987. Rung half muffled on the morning of the funeral and to give thanks for the life of Frederick G Custerson (Fred) who had been a long and faithful member of the congregation at Coity Church and a ringer there since 1974.

As a team effort we decided to ring half-muffled for one hour to remember the sadness that has happened during these disasters in Turkey and Syria.

The new treble has been kindly donated by Jeff Palmer in memory of Paul A Williams. The work was carried out by Nicholson Bellhangers with the help of local volunteers. Additional rope circle improvements have been carried out with the help of Philip Pratt of Avon Ropes.
