Llantwit Major ringers ringing today for "Ringing Remembers" at 12:30pm including our six new ringers and one returner all recruited for "Ringing Remembers" and "Battles Over". For five of these, it was their first Sunday ringing but everyone rang at least 100 changes even though some, including myself, required some assistance. It was very emotional when during the ringing, I read out the names, regiments and ages of the ringers lost from this tower in the Great War. I am very proud of you Rachel, Peter, Kath, Ruth, Roy, Janet and Noel for all the effort that you have all put in to make today the success that it was xx Also special thanks to our two visitors Karen Dunn and Nicky Smith
