This was also the 25th peal on the bells. 18 of the peals have been Surprise, three of Stedman, three of Plain Bob Major and one of Grandsire Triples. Frederick Shallcross’s contribution on the tenor was outstanding and it would be remiss of any footnote not to record this sterling performance.
