The 100th peal on the bells, and rung on the 60th anniversary of the first (April 24th, 1926) conducted by the late A J Pitman, and which marked the birth of a daughter to their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York. The ringers of 2 and 4 have now been ringing for 60 years.

Forty years ago he called the first peal of Major on these bells,the treble ringer taking part in that peal. Also 58 years ago,he called the first peal of triples for the ringers of 1 and 2 using the same composition.

To mark the unique occasion in the history of this parish when two brothers were ordained by Roy, Bishop of Llandaff, at his cathedral church. Martyn John Davies ordained priest and Robert Emlyn Davies ordained Deacon. Both former ringers and choristers of this church.
