First peal on eight bells - 1. Rung in honour of His Majesty King Edward VIII's Accession to the Throne.

First peal of Erin Triples: 2, 3, 5. First peal in the method: 4, 7, 8. First peal in the method on the bells. Rung for the Accession of H.M. King Edward VIII.

Arranged for Mr James Bennett, of London.

Rung as a birthday compliment to ringer of the 4th, who was 74 years old the same day. All are Sunday service ringers at the above church, and. between them, have put in 252 years' service at this tower, viz., 42, 23, 26, 41, 30, 12, 30 and 28 years respectively.

Rung as a birthday compliment to the ringers of the 4th and 7th.

Specially arranged for and rung on the first anniversary of the birth of a daughter to the ringer of the 6th. After the peal the ringers were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Addis.

First peal and first attempt: 1, 6. All the ringers are regular service ringers at Bonvilston Church.

First peal: 1. Rung as a compliment to the ringer of the 3rd, who has just been promoted to headmaster at one of the local schools.

Rung as a birthday compliment to the conductor.

By special request of the Vicar, this peal was rung in honour of the King's Accession.

First peal of Kent Treble Bob Minor - 4. Rung as a welcome to the Rev. Canon Richard William Jones, B.A., who was inducted Rector of Neath before the peal. Mr. Hensher was on a visit from Finedon.

200th peal: 3. First peal: 8. Arranged and rung to celebrate the silver wedding of the conductor and Mrs Rowsell, also as a birthday compliment to J Lovett and the father of the ringer of the 3rd.

First peal: 1, 6.

A. E. Austin is from Newmarket. Rung as a compliment to the Vicar, the Rev. W. H. Jones, B .A., on becoming Rural Dean. Also a birthday peal for the conductor, who has now completed the circle at this tower for the second time.

First peal of Triples: 1, 6. Rung as a birthday compliment to the conductor's wife.

First peal: 1. First peal of Grandsire Triples: 3. Rung on the occasion of the visit of HRH, the Duke of Kent to Cardiff.

First peal away from treble: 5. First peal: 8. The conductor is from Llantrisant, the remainder are all service ringers of St. Elvan’s. This is the first peal since the bells were rehung by Gillett and Johnston, and a wedding compliment to the daughter of the tenor ringer, who was married to Mr. A. Coulter at Weston-super-Mare on October 5th.

First peal of Bob Minor: 3. Rung to mark the occasion of the visit of HM the King to this parish.
