150th peal: 3. First peal ever rung with these two methods spliced. Rung as a birthday compliment to Mrs D R James, wife of the ringer of the seventh.

First peal of Stedman Triples - 6.

Rung on the occasion of the wedding of Lord Robert Crichton Stuart, second son of the Marquis and Marchioness of Bute, of Cardiff Castle, and Lady Janet Montgomerie, daughter of Beatrice Countess of Eglinton and Winton and the Earl of Eglinton and Winton, which took place the same day at Windsor.

First peal of Grandsire: 1.

First peal in the method: 1, 2, 3, 8. Rung as a birthday peal for the 2nd and tenor, and for the granddaughter of the ringer of the 7th and his father, who was 77 years of age on that day.

Rung on the occasion of the wedding of Miss K. M. Morgan, daughter of Canon and Mrs. S. G. Morgan, and the Rev. W. H. S. Davies, curate of St. Peter-the-Great, Worcester. The bride’s father is Vicar of All Saints' and Rural Dean of Newport, and treasurer of the Diocesan Association of Change Ringers. The Bishop of Monmouth conducted the service.

400th peal: 6. First peal and first attempt: 8. On January 12th, 1889, the ringer of the sixth rang his first pea1 on these bells, ringing the same bell, which was the first peal on the bells and first by all, and the same method, Grandsire Triples. Of that band there are now only three survivors.

First peal: 1, 6. First peal of Doubles: 3. Arranged for C Cox, who has been clerk of the parish for over 40 years, and was his first attempt for a peal. First peal on the bells since the adding of a new treble.

Rung for the 75th anniversary of the consecration of the present church.

First peal with a bob bell: 5. First peal of Triples: 8. Rung as a birthday compliment to Mrs. Edith Phillips, wife of the ringer of the second.

First peal of Grandsire Caters: 6. Mr. Fred Chamberlain very kindly stood down to enable Mr. Gudgeon, who hails from Manchester, to ring his first peal of Grandsire Caters. Rung on the occasion of the wedding of H.R.H. the Duke of Kent and Princess Marina, with best wishes and congratulations.

First peal: 3, 6, 8. The ringer of 3rd from Aberdare, 4th Merthyr, 5th Llantrisant. All the rest are Sunday service ringers of St Catherine's, Pontypridd.

First peal of Caters. Rung as a birthday compliment to Mr. John Clutterbuck on reaching his 87th birthday. He is one of the original members of the association.
