First peal on eight bells: 1. All the band are ringers at the above church. Rung at the ninth attempt, on the bells by a purely local band.

First peal of Stedman Caters on the bells by resident members. Rung as a birthday compliment to the treble ringer’s granddaughter; also as a birthday compliment to Mr. William Page, of Pentre, who unfortunately was unable to take part. The band take this opportunity of thanking Mr. Fred Attwell for obtaining permission and making all arrangements for the peal.

Rung as a birthday compliment to the oldest daughter of the conductor, who came of age on the 8th.

First peal: 1. First peal in the method by all except the ringer of the sixth. First peal of Oxford Bob Triples on the bells and by the Llandaff Association in the county of Monmouth. E. H. Stradling was elected a member of the association before starting the peal.

Rung as a birthday compliment to J Bullen and K Knowles, after meeting short for Caters.

First peal - 1, and made a member at a previous attempt. Arranged for Mr W H Fussell, of Slough.

Arranged for ex-Sergt J Williams of Newent. Rung after meeting short for Bob Major.

Specially arranged to mark the esteem in which he is held, and rung on the occasion of the wedding of Mr. John Phillips, one of the association’s keenest and enthusiastic members, which took place that day at St. John's Church, Cardiff, the band wishing him and his wife long life and happiness. Prior to the peal, the band were most kindly entertained to tea by the Vicar of Caldicot, who wished the peal would be successful for this very special occasion.

Rung on the eleventh anniversary of the tenor ringer's first peal.

Rung as a compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain, parents of Mr. F. Chamberlain, leader of St. John’s, Cardiff, for their golden wedding, which was celebrated on July 11th. The conductor has now rung a peal on each day of the week, each day of the month, and in each month of the year. The ringer of the seventh has now completed the circle in this tower.

First peal of Stedman Triples: 1. First peal of Stedman as conductor.

90th peal: 4. Rung to honour one of the oldest members of the association, Mr. Jesse Pitcher, who celebrated his golden wedding last week, the band wishing him and his wife continued happiness. Mr. Ernest Stitch has now rung each bell in the tower to a peal.

50th peal: 1, 8. Rung as a birthday peal to Mr. Ernest Coombes. It was his first peal of Stedman Caters. Rung to honour Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Baker, who celebrated their golden wedding last Friday, the band wishing them future happiness. Mr. Baker is a sidesman and a great worker for St. John’s Church.

Specially rung as a birthday peal for the conductor's wife.

First peal: 2, 6. First peal as conductor. Rung with 7, 6, 8 covering and the bells half-muffled. Miss Lane is the first lady to ring a peal on these bells.

Rung on the eve of Advent, and also as a birthday compliment to the ringer of the fourth.

Rung as a wedding peal for the Rev. Ivor Davies, curate of St. Paul’s, Aberavon, and Miss Hilda Mary Mogford, of Cyncoed, near Cardiff, who were married at All Saints’, Cardiff, the same day. The ringers of 1, 3, 4 and tenor belong to Aberavon.

50th peal together: 1, 7. This and the peal rung at Bridgend were rung as a birthday compliment to Mr. I W. Jones, the highly esteemed hon. secretary of the above association, also in honour of his retirement, after 46 years’ service with the G.W.R., the band wishing him a long life with the best of health to enjoy it.

First peal on the bells since the restoration of the tower.

Rung to commemorate the dedication of a new organ and altar cross, which took place on December 2nd, by the Lord Bishop of Monmouth, Dr G C Joyce.

Specially arranged and rung for PC Charles Davis, of the Metropolitan Police, who was on a visit.

First peal of Stedman: 1. 50th peal together: 9, 10. rung as a birthday compliment to one of the oldest members of the association, Mr John Clutterbuck, on his 83rd birthday. Also as a wedding peal to Miss Elsie Page, daughter of Mr William Page, of Pentre, and niece of the ringer of the 6th.
