First peal of Royal: 1. First peal of Bob Royal on the bells.

First peal: 1. Rung as a birthday compliment to Mr. Richard Evans on his 65th birthday. He has been a ringer at the above church for over 40 years, but was unable to stand in the peal owing to ill-health. It was also a birthday compliment to the sister of the ringer of the 4th.

First peal: 8. The conductor’s 300th peal. Rung half-muffled as a last tribute of respect to Mr. Harry Morgan, who was buried on this day, and who, for the past fifteen years, had been a regular Sunday service ringer at the above church.

70th peal: 4. First peal of Stedman on the bells. Arranged as a birthday compliment to Mrs Page, Ton Pentre, mother of the treble, 5th and 6th ringers, on the occasion of her 74th birthday.

First peal away from tenor: 1. First peal: 8. Rung as a birthday compliment to the Master, Mr. G. Martin, who was unable to take part, owing to ill-health.

First peal inside: 2. First peal: 5.

First peal of Caters: 1. First peal of Caters as conductor.

First peal: 8. Rung with the bells half-muffled as a last tribute of respect and affection to the late Mr. Evan Davies, to whose initiative this peal of bells was obtained. Forty years ago last month the first peal was rung on them, and it was the first peal for all the band. They were all taught by Mr. Davies, by whom the peal was conducted. One of the above, the ringer of the 4th, took part in that first performance.

First peal: 6. Rung as a birthday compliment to Mr P T Clift, father of the 3rd ringer.

First peal in the method: 5. First peal in the method as conductor. The ringer of the treble has now rung each bell in the tower to a peal.

First peal of Triples with a bob bell - 4. The visitors take this opportunity of thanking the Vicar for the use of the bells, and the local band for having everything ready.

First peal of Stedman Triples: 1, 5, 8. First peal of Stedman Triples on the bells. Arranged as a birthday compliment to the ringer of the second. Also a compliment to Herbert Davies, this being the anniversary of his wedding, and a wedding peal for the son of William Page.

75th peal - 4, 5. Proposed a member before the peal - 8.

First peal of Stedman Caters by all the band, also first peal for the association by resident members. The ringers of the 1st, 5th and 8th hail from Pentre, 3rd and 4th from Bedwellty, the others are local men. Rung as a birthday peal to the conductor.

First peal of Spliced Major by all the band and by the association.

First peal of Minor: 1, 3, 4. First peal on the bells.

First peal in the method by all the band and for the association, also the first peal of Forward rung in Wales. Rung at the first attempt and without previous practice. 50th peal on the bells. Rung as a birthday compliment to the Rev Canon David Phillips, BA, RD, Vicar for 28 years at the above church. This composition is now rung for the first time.

First peal "inside" on eight bells: 2. First peal on eight bells: 4, 8.

A thanksgiving peal for the King's recovery. This composition is now rung for the first time.

Rung as a wedding peal for the conductor, the band wishing him and his wife long life, the best of health, and every happiness in the future.

First peal of Major as conductor. J Phillips has now rung each bell in the tower to a peal. Rung with the bells half-muffled to the memory of all ranks of HM Forces who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War.

First peal "inside": 2. The band are greatly indebted to Mr Went, who filled a gap at a moment's notice.

First peal: 8. The ringer of 2nd is from Bedwellty, 3rd from Pontypridd, 4th and 6th from Caerphilly, 7th from Cardiff, 5th from Bridgend, treble and tenor local. The band take this opportunity of thanking the Vicar for the use of the bells.
