First peal of Kent Major - 1, 2, 7. First peal of Kent Major on the bells. First 'touch' as conductor in the method.

This is the first peal of Spliced Oxford Bob and Grandsire Triples ever rung; also the first peal of Triples ever rung without Singles, Bobs only being used. The methods were intermixed throughout.

First peal of Kent Royal: 2. First peal in the method on the bells. Rung as a birthday compliment to the mother of the three brothers Page.

First peal of Caters: 7, 8.

First peal of Triples: 1. First peal with a bob bell: 6. The ringer of 1st, 3rd and 7th hail from Aberavon; 2nd from Newton Nottage; 4th from Newport: the rest are local.

First peal on the bells, which were rehung in 1923 by Messrs. Mears and Stainbank.

First peal on this lovely ring of bells recently put in by John Taylor and Co.

First peal by all except the conductor.

First peal of Triples - 5.

First peal: 1. Rung as a wedding peal to the ringer of the tenor.

First peal - 3.

First peal away from tenor. Rung for the occasion of the golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Addicott, father and mother of the above brothers, which was celebrated on July 2nd.

50th peal: 5. This is the first spliced peal of Major and Triples ever rung, and first spliced peal so conducted. Rung half-muffled as a last tribute of respect to the Ven. D. H. Griffiths. M.A., Archdeacon of Monmouth and late hon. secretary of the Llandaff Diocesan Association.

First peal: 1. Rung half-muffled as a last tribute of respect to the wife of Mr. Frank Forsdike, ex-churchwarden of the above church, who died on the 10th inst.

First peal of Minor - 1, 3. First peal of Bob Minor as conductor, and first peal of Minor on the bells.

First peal on ten and first attempt: 1. Arranged for the ringers of treble, 8th and 9th, who hail from Aberavon.

First peal ever rung with these two methods spliced. The ringer of the 5th has now rung each bell in the tower to a peal. Twenty-fifth peal together for the 5th and tenor ringers. Rung as a wedding peal for Mr. and Mrs. T. Clanzey, who were married in Cardiff the same day. The former is president of the Bridgend ex-Service Men’s Club.

First peal, and belongs to Abergavenny: 6. Rung as a compliment to the conductor's daughter, who attained her twentieth birthday on this day.

First peal of Caters: 1. First peal: 6, 10. This peal was rung with the bells half-muffled to the memory of the late Archdeacon of Monmouth (Rev. D. H. Griffiths, M.A.), who was Vicar of St. Woolos' from April 9th, 1908, and whose death took place in St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, on Friday, August 27th, 1926.

First peal of Stedman on the bells.

First peal by all the band except the conductor, and first peal on the bells by a local band. Rung with the bells half-muffled to the memory of the late Bishop of St. David’ s, the Right Rev. John Owen, D.D., who was interred at Abergwelli the previous day.

First peal: 1. First peal of Triples as conductor. Rung as a compliment to the Vicar, Rev. Canon David Phillips, B.A., R.D., on completing 25 years as Vicar of this parish.

First peal of Triples with a bob bell. Ringer of 2nd hails from Cadoxton, Neath, of the 5th from Bridgend, the rest are local.

First peal of Caters: 2, 4. Rung as a welcome to the new Vicar, also as a birthday compliment to J. W. Jones.

First peal: 5. Ringers of 4th and 7th hail from Merthyr.
