In memoriam — Mike Jefferis
Mike was a member of the Holmer band for over 30 years. During this time he was Tower Captain for many years and also Steeple Keeper and Tower Secretary. In 2000 Mike led the project to refurbish and rehang the bells, and was very proud to take part in the first peal on the rehung bells. This also being his first peal. During the last couple of years Mike has not been able to ring as much as he would have liked due to his health. But he remained committed to the band and tried to ring for service on Sundays as much as possible.
