Ladies Guild — 130 firsts for the 130th Anniversary Year

12th February 2026 – 11th February 2027

on February 12th 1896 Rosetta Alice White became the first woman to ring a tower bell to a peal at the age of 15 years. When the Ladies Guild was formed in 1912 Alice White became the First President of the Guild. In celebration of our first President’s historic achievement members of The Ladies Guild are being asked to attempt to ring 130 firsts during the 130th Anniversary year.
