Guildford Diocesan Guild — Guildford District Quarter Peal weekend 2023
20th – 22nd October 2023
35 of our District members took part in this year’s Quarter Peal weekend (about 20% of our membership), together with 10 very welcome guests from neighbouring Districts and Associations. These 45 ringers scored a healthy 12 quarters, from Minor to Maximus, using 9 different conductors. We always try to ensure a good level of firsts of various kinds, and this year we had a first minor, a first on 10, various firsts in the method, and the first Nottingham 8-spliced by a resident District band. A very satisfactory haul!
