Ringing to remember Ted Venn
There will be ringing in the Black Bourton area on Saturday, 23 July, to celebrate the contribution to ringing of Ted Venn. Ted made a contribution to ringing in many areas, especially around Oxford, in Cornwall and at Inverness.
Ted died in 2019, and although there has been some peal and quarter-peal ringing in his memory, there has been no opportunity for any general ringing. Teaching and giving every one a chance was at the heart of Ted’s ringing philosophy, and this event will reflect that.
