Association of Ringing Teachers — M1 Refresher Workshop - West Lavington

09:00 – 13:30 GMT Saturday, 29th January 2022

Presented by ART Assessor and mentor David Hackett, his workshop held at West Lavington is for those people who have already attended an ART Module 1 Day Course and wish to refresh their skills.

Delegates will work with a small group of fellow teachers in the tower on:

Raising a bell

Putting it all together

Ringing down

Observation and feedback

What next?

The following components can also be slotted in if requested in advance:

Introducing the backstroke on an up bell

Introducting the handstroke

Changing speed of ringing

The practical sessions provide plenty of time to practise and discuss teaching skills in a safe environment.

Please note that booking for this event is password protected until the 1st December 2021 so that local ringers have priority. Any places available after this will be open for general booking.
