THE SOCIETY OF RAMBLING RINGERS — 70th Anniversary Grand Summer Reunion
6th – 18th August 2021
To be held in Lincolnshire, celebrating the Society’s 70th Anniversary and a chance to meet and catch up with friends after the past 18 months.
In place of the Annual 2 week Summer Tour, which has for a second year been postponed (now till Summer 2022), a long weekend in the form of a Summer Reunion will be held instead starting on Firday 6th August and finishing on Sunday 8th August.
It will be focused around the Lincoln area and hopefully the Horncastle area.
The weekend will consist hopefully of Peal attempts (for those interested), Quarter Peal attempts, Open Ringing, Mini Tour, Picnics and a Private Evening Dinner.
The Society was founded by John E ‘Jack’ Cook on 18th August 1951 in the Churchyard at Horbling Lincs which was the final tower of the Society’s first tour.
All members (past and present) are welcome!
