Bath & Wells Diocesan Association — Bells and Fells.
The annual foray of the Milverton (Somerset) practice night band to the Lake District to enjoy a week of ringing, fell walking, eating and drinking. This year we were blessed with a very good weather window in an otherwise wet winter. Walking conditions were very good with perfect hard snow underfoot on the higher fells, Green Gable being achieved by most of the team, and Red Pike and Fairfield summitted by the strongest walkers Heather and David. The two ringing days produced a 100% achievement and some creditable performances. Many thanks to the Incumbents for allowing us to ring, and to those meeting us and giving us such warm welcomes.
