Irish Association — Ballymena Bells - 125th Anniversary

Friday, 29th May 2020

On Wednesday 25th of May 1895, the original 17cwt Mears & Stainbank ring of eight was dedicated, with the ringers from St. Thomas’s Belfast being the first to ring them on this day, after the service.

As there is no ringing at St Patrick’s until further notice, it is hoped that a sufficient number of mini bells (at St Elizabeth’s) will be erected in time to ring for this anniversary.
